WILLS & TRUST

We work with families to design a personalized plan for the management of assets in the event of incapacity and distribution of assets upon death.

Conservatorship

We sometimes find ourselves in unique situations where it is necessary to care for those who cannot care for themselves. In these situations, a conservatorship arrangement may be established to better care for an impaired loved one.

A conservatorship is a court case where a judge appoints a responsible person or organization (called the “conservator”) to care for another adult (called the “conservatee”) who cannot care for himself or herself or manage his or her own finances. (courts.ca.gov)

Elder Law

We work with families to utilize Veteran’s (available to “wartime veterans” or surviving spouses) and/or Medicaid benefits to protect clients from sacrificing their life savings to pay for long-term care, including in-home care, assisted living, adult day care, and nursing home care.
